is alongside Turkey's Elvan Abeylegesse (1723) with Russia's Liliya Shobukhova
leading the way. Dominguez won the gold medal in a new championship
record time of 14: 56.18, with Shobukhova taking silver and Abeylegesse bronze.

She produced a fine performance to finish in seventh place in
a new national record time of 30: 51.69. In what was a high quality race,
19 of the first 20 athletes remarkably posted either a PB,
