A delighted Kajsa is pictured above after clearing what would prove
to be a gold medal winning 2.02m in the womens High Jump final at the
2005 World Championships in Helsinki. The only other athlete left in the
competition was Chaunte Howard and when she failed all three attempts
at the height it meant Bergqvist was the world champion. The victory
brought to an end a run of bronze medals at the 'majors' for Kajsa,
following her third place finishes at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2001
Worlds and the 2005 Worlds.
