Óscar Husillos was the fastest qualifier, winning his semi-final in 45.69.
In the final he ran out of his lane and was disqualified.
He "won" the final in 44.92 seconds with Luguelín Santos "second". **
Deon Lendore died in a car crash on Monday 10th January 2020, aged 29.
He was driving home after coaching at Texas A&M university when he was involved
in a head on collision.
He anchored his country to a bronze medal at London 2012 and
competed at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics (2021).
