Allyson FELIX - U.S.A. - 2015 World 400 metres champion in Beijing.

Allyson Felix crosses the finish line in Beijing at the 2015 World Championships

to win her first major 400 metres title. With three Olympic 200 metres gold medals

and four World Championships over the same distance she had never won a gold

over one lap (apart from a 4x400m relay gold for the USA). She ended that record

with a comfortable victory in the Chinese capital. Her time was the fastest in the world.
