Andre CASON - U.S.A. - Two Golds & a silver at the 1991 & 1993 World Championships.

The main photo above shows Andre during the heats of the 100m at the 1993 World Championships

in Stuttgart. The inset picture shows Cason (lane 6) crossing the line behind Great Britain's

Linford Christie to take the silver medal in a time of 9.92 secs. Andre was also part of the USA team

which swept to victory in the 4x100m, as indeed he was two years earlier in Tokyo.

Andre Cason set an Indoor 60m world record of 6.41 on 14th February 1992

which stood until 1998, when Maurice Greene ran 6.39.
