Andre PHILLIPS - U.S.A. - 1988 Olympic 400mh champion in record time.

Andre Phillips winning the 1988 Olympic Games 400 metres hurdles final in an Olympic

record of 47.19 seconds. In third place was the great Edwin Moses (Phillip's idol) whom he is

beating here for the only time in their competitive careers.
