Angelo TAYLOR - U.S.A. - 2007 World Championships 400m bronze medal.

The main photo above shows Angelo during the heats of the mens 400m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. In the final itself, Taylor, a gold medallist over the hurdles at the 2000 Olympics, won the bronze medal in a time of 44.32 secs. The inset picture shows the closing few metres of the final, with Angelo on the far right. Jeremy Wariner (centre of the photo) won the gold and LaShawn Merritt (second right) silver, meaning the USA completed a clean sweep of the medals. Taylor then teamed up with Wariner, Merritt and Darold Williamson to win gold for the USA in the 4x400m relay. It was the third time that Angelo had won a relay gold at the Worlds, having also tasted success in 1999 & 2001.
