Bernard LAGAT - U.S.A. - 5000m win completes golden double at 2007 Worlds (result)

Bernard is pictured above (1113) crossing the line to win gold in the final of the mens 5000m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, pipping Kenya's Eliud Kipchoge by just 13 hundredths of a second. It completed a truly memorable championship for Lagat, who had also struck gold in the 1500m just a few days earlier (see previous page).
