A United States National record in the shot put of 20.21m was
not quite good enough to win the gold medal for Chase Ealey.
Both she and winner Auriol Dongmo produced their best throws in round
five and then both recorded a no throw in their last attempts.
At the outdoor Championships in Oregon she did win the gold.
