Cole Hocker wins the men's 1500m final from 2023 World Champion
Josh Kerr, in a new Olympic record time of 3:27.65. His wining time
was also a U.S. record. With Yared Nuguse finishing third it was the
first time two U.S. athletes had stood on the medallists' podium.

Cole Hocker (3:32.54) shadows Josh Kerr (3:32.46) in their semi-final, won by
Jakob Ingebrigtsen (3:32.38). Ironically in the first semi-final all the first six runners
beat Ingebrigsten's winning time.
