Dalilah Muhammad in action during the heats of the women's 400m metres hurdles,
when she was the fastest runner of the day, with 54.59. She also won her semi-final
(55.00) but despite a personal best time in the Final, the 2016 Rio Olympic Champion
had to settle for the silver medal behind fellow American Kori Carter.
On 29th. July at the 2019 US National Championships in Iowa Dalilah set a new
World Record for the 400 metres hurdles of 52.02, breaking Yuliya Pechonkia's
16 years record of 52.34.
