David (far left) won the bronze medal - his first medal at a major championship - in a time of 13.18 secs, with Cuba's Dayron Robles (centre) winning gold and Oliver's compatriot David Payne (right) the silver. The left hand photo shows David watching a television replay of the race, in which he was pipped to the silver medal by just 1 hundredth of a second. .
