Grant Holloway is pictured above winning his heat of the men's 110m hurdles in 13.22. He also won his
semi-final (13.10) a fraction slower than Olympic and defending champion Omar McLeod who won
his in 13.08. Their show down in the final was looked forward with anticipation as Holloway was the
only hurdler who had ran a sub 13 seconds that season (12.98 in Texas in June). Events turned out
not as expected. The two photos below indicate how.

McLeod, the defending champion, elbows Spain's Orlando Ortego, who losses some of his momentum and perhaps a medal.
(Orlando was later awarded a bronze medal.)

McLeod crashes to the floor but is later disqualified just to add to his disappointment.
