The race finish pictures above show the closing stages of the mens 200m final - John

is pictured third from left (972) - at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki.

Capel, who was the defending champion, took the bronze medal in a seasons

best time of 20.31 behind compatriots Justin Gatlin (983) and Wallace Spearmon (1030),

with Tyson Gay (984) completing an unprecedented 1, 2, 3, 4 for any one nation.

The wet track, reflecting the bright floodlights, gives a wrong impression of the pictures showing

two different races. The other picture is of John during the heats of the 200 metres.
