Defending champion Joe Kovacs was unable to meet the challenge of New Zealand's
Thomas Walsh at the London World Championships having to settle for the silver medal.
His best throw was 21.66, in the third round, but even that was not enough to better
Thomas who hit 21.75 with his third effort ( and 22.03 with his final put).
