Kim Turner is pictured above (lane 6) during the final of the 100m Hurdles at the 1984
Los Angeles Olympics. She took the bronze medal behind compatriot Benita Fitzgerald-Brown (lane 4)
and Britain's Shirley Strong in lane 7. Michele Chardonnet (lane 5) was originally deemed to have finished
in 4th place behind Turner but a successful appeal saw her elevated to equal third.

Kim won the 1984 US Olympic Trials 100 metres hurdles (5th in 1988 ) and the 1988
US National Championships 100 metres hurdles (2nd in 1989).
She was also twice won the US National Indoor Sprint Hurdles Champion
(55 metres in 1989) & (60 metres in 1991 )
