She finished just outside the medals in fourth place in the final in a time of 49.97 secs.
In the 4x400m relay she anchored the USA team to Gold, finishing ahead of Russia's
Natalya Antyukh who was the athlete who had just pipped Monique to the bronze in the 400m.
