Paul McMullen is pictured above (1367) during the final of the 1,500m at the
1995 World Championships. He finished in 10th place with the medals going to
Noureddine Morceli (108), Hicham El Guerrouj (red vest to Morceli's right)
and Venuste Niyongabo (262).
Paul McMullen died on 4th. March 2021 in a ski accident aged 49, a native of Cadillac
in northern Michigan, he lived with his wife and three children in Grand Haven,
where he led a running club for kids called Chariots of Fire.
