Walter is pictured above during the final of the men's Triple Jump at
the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Davis, the gold medalist at the
previous World Champs, won the bronze medal with a seasons best leap of
17.33m. The bronze medal was a close run thing though, with Walter
finishing just 1 cm ahead of the 4th placed competitor, Cuba's Osniel
Tosca, and 2cm clear of the 5th placed athlete, his compatriot Aarik
Wilson. |
