Walter is pictured above during the final of the men's Triple Jump at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Davis, the gold medalist at the previous World Champs, won the bronze medal with a seasons best leap of 17.33m. The bronze medal was a close run thing though, with Walter finishing just 1 cm ahead of the 4th placed competitor, Cuba's Osniel Tosca, and 2cm clear of the 5th placed athlete, his compatriot Aarik Wilson.
