Natalya Lisovskaya set the world record in the women's shot put with a throw of
22.63 metres (74 feet 3 inches), which she achieved on 7th. June 1987, in Moscow.
The record lasted for decades. Lisovskaya married men's hammer throw world record
holder Yuriy Sedykh and had one daughter, Alexia.
