Stephen is pictured above passing Buckingham Palace (note the Gold railings in the back gound) just 500 metres from
the finish line. The inset photo was taken a lap earlier at the same place as he follows the two Kenyans who
took the silver and bronze medals behind him. He is only Uganda's second Gold medallist.
The late John Akii-Bua was the other, in the 400 metres hurdles, at Munich in 1972.
