(Dennis is pictured above during the 1st Prudential Trophy One Day International against the West Indies at the unusual setting of Scarborough on 26 August 1976. Amiss chipped in with 34 in England's total of 202 but the Windies went on to record a comfortable 6 wicket victory. This match marked the international debut of a certain I.T. Botham who scored just 1 before being dismissed by Michael Holding. Ian faired little better with the ball, his 3 overs costing 26 runs!)
