Alistair Cook batting during his innings of 43 at Trent Bridge in the 4th. Test against Australia, where the home
side won by an innings and 78 runs to regain the Ashes. He thus became only the third England player to win the
Ashes as captain on three separate occasions. It was his 14th match versus Australia as England's captain.
As a player, Alastair Cook was the only England cricketer in history to be involved in over 50 Test victories.
