Steve Harmison is pictured above during his fine spell of 36.2-8-74-4
in New Zealand's 1st innings of the 2nd Test at Headingley, Leeds in
June 2004. Despite Harmison's best efforts the New Zealanders still
posted a total of 409 all out but an excellent response from England saw
them take a 1st innings lead of 117. Steve was then once again in
amongst the wickets - taking 3-57 from 16 overs - as New Zealand were
skittled for 161 in their 2nd innings and the home side went on to
complete an impressive 9 wicket victory. England went on to win the 3
match series 3-0 and, for Harmison, it was also a splendid series on a
personal note, his 21 wickets coming at an average of a shade over 22.
Steve's statistics include 1 Test playing for the ICC against Australia
(14th-17th October 2005) at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
