The pictures above show Steve during his terrific spell of 13-4-46-6 in
the West Indies 1st innings of the 4th Test at The Oval in August 2004.
The Windies were forced to follow on after making only 152 in reply to
England's 470 and, despite an improved effort from the tourists second
time around of 318 all out, the home side went on to record a
comfortable 10 wicket victory. England's batting scorecard made unusual
reading in that every player made double figures but nobody made a
century, the lowest score being 10 by Rob Key and the highest 72 by
Andrew Flintoff. Steve managed to provide some great entertainment by
blasting 36 off just 27 balls, including three 4s and three 6s !
