of the 2nd Test against Australia at Lord's in July 1985. Unfortunately their efforts could not save England and Australia
went on to record a six wicket victory. England bounced back from that defeat, however, to wrap up the six match series
by a 3-1 scoreline. Gatt also enjoyed a fantastic series on a personal note, scoring 527 runs at an average of 87.83,
with centuries at both Old Trafford and Edgbaston.
