The pictures above show Tim during his fine knock of 67 in England's 1st
innings of the 3rd Test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham
in June 2008. It was a vital innings from Ambrose, with England in
trouble at 86-5 when their 'keeper came to the wicket following the
dismissal of Andrew Strauss, Ian Bell and Paul Collingwood for the
addition of just two runs. Tim rose to the challenge admirably to share a
5th wicket partnership of 161 with Kevin Pietersen, with England going
on to post a more than useful total of 364 all out. They then dismissed
the New Zealanders for 123 and 232 to record an innings & 9 runs
victory with Ambrose snaffling 5 catches during the match.
