Tom Ritchie is pictured above playing for Bristol City during the match
against West Ham United. He scored two goals that day in a 3-2 win for
the Robins. They were in the top English Division at the time but when
he returned to play for them, at the end of his playing days, they had
slipped into the fourth division.

Ritchie was one of the few players to play for Bristol City in all four divisions along with
Chris Garland. Ritchie left Bristol City for the second time in December 1984 when signed
by former colleague Gerry Gow for Yeovil Town in the Southern League.
