Peter Whittingham is pictured above battling for possession with Lassana Diarra during the F.A. Cup Final against
Portsmouth on 17/5/2008. Cardiff performed creditably on the day but it was the Premiership side who took the famous
old trophy courtesy of Kanu's goal in a 1-0 victory. It was the first time that Cardiff had been in the F.A. Cup final
since they won the trophy back in 1927.
