John Sparrow made his debut for the Blues in March 1974 at just 16 years of age.
He seemed to have a bright future ahead of him but never quite established himself
as a regular in the starting line-up and moved on to Exeter City in January 1981
playing a total of 74 games for the club. John is pictured above during
the 2-1 defeat against Sheffield United.
