Chelsea won the match 1-0 courtesy of a Dider Drogba goal in the 59th minute, thus completing the 'double'

of League title and F.A. Cup for the first time in the club's history. Cech more than played his part in the win,

making a vital save from a Kevin-Prince Boateng penalty when the score was level at 0-0.
