Speedy striker Darren Huckerby moved to Highfield Road for a fee of £1 million from Newcastle United
after making just one League appearance as a sub for the St. James' Park club. On his day the
unpredictable Huckerby could be quite brilliant and he scored some memorable goals during his
time with the Sky Blues. He moved on to Leeds United for £4 million prior to the start of the
1999-00 season.
Darren is pictured above during the 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
84 League apps (+9 as sub), 28 goals.
