Ernie HUNT - Coventry City - League appearances.

Ernie Hunt is pictured playing for Coventry City in their 3-1 win against Leeds United.

He was born on St Patrick’s Day, 1943, and consequently christened Roger ‘Patrick’ Hunt.

He was known as "Ernie" – a contraction of Ernest, his father's name – to avoid confusion

with Liverpool and England striker Roger Hunt.
