Wayne ROONEY - England - UEFA European Championships 2004.

The main photo above shows Wayne battling for possession with Portugal's Ricardo Carvalho and Nuno Valente (14) during the Euro 2004 quarter-final. Rooney was forced to leave the action after just 27 minutes due to an injured foot and England looked a shadow of the side without him, losing 6-5 on penalties after leading 1-0 when Wayne was taken off.
