He joined Everton as a schoolboy and was part of their 1998 FA Youth Cup winning team,
he was man of the match in the 2nd leg of the final. Farley, a very talented centre back,
was compared to Alan Hansen by Nick Barmby and was tipped by Colin Harvey to have an
outstanding career. He made one first team appearance, coming on as a substitute against
Derby County in February 1999 and was a substitute at West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur.
Between 2001 and 2004 he played 204 games for Droylesden
between 2005 - 2009 he played for Marine (221 appearances).
