Alan Biley joined Everton from Derby County in July 1981 for a fee of £300,000,
becoming new manager Howard Kendall's first signing. He scored in each of his
first two games for the Toffees but thereafter struggled to find the net and moved
on to Portsmouth after just 13 months on Merseyside.
He is pictured above during the match against Tottenham Hotspur.
