Asa Hartford moved to Goodison Park in a £500,000 deal from Nottingham Forest in August 1979,
having made just three appearances for the East Midlands club. His two seasons on Merseyside
produced 6 goals in 74 league games, before a £350,000 move to Manchester City in October 1981.
