Billy Wright is pictured above during Everton's 2-2 draw against Bristol City.
Local lad Billy Wright continued the family name at Goodison Park - his uncle
Tommy played 371 games for the Blues in the mid 60s and early 70s. Billy made
his Everton debut at just 19 years of age in February 1978 and was a regular
for the next four seasons. Sadly his Everton career was brought to a premature
end due to weight problems - he was 8lb over the weight limit set by Howard Kendall
and he was sold to Birmingham City in the summer of 1983.
