Joe McBride, son of a Scotland international striker of the 1960s also named Joe, joined Everton
straight from school. He made 57 league appearances for the Merseysiders but found himself out
in the cold following the arrival of Howard Kendall as manager and moved on to Rotherham in the
summer of 1982. Joe is pictured above during the 3-1 win against Brighton on 8/10/1980.
