Mickey Thomas joined Everton in August 1981 from Manchester United in an exchange deal that saw John Gidman
move to Old Trafford. It proved to be a very short stay on Merseyside and the Welshman moved on to Brighton
in November 1981 after a breach of discipline where the Welshman refused to play in a reserve match.
Mickey is pictured above during the match against Spurs.
