Mitch Ward moved to Everton in November 1997 as part of the deal which also brought Carl Tiler to Goodison
from Sheffield United, the Blades receiving £500,000 plus Graham Stuart. The versatile Ward made
24 league appearances for the Blues before a £200,000 move to Barnsley in the summer of 2000.
