A lifelong Evertonian, Tony got his dream transfer to his boyhood idols when moving to Goodison in a £400,000 deal from neighbours Tranmere Rovers in August 1997. Sadly he was never able to establish himself in the starting line-up - partly due to injuries - and he moved on to Motherwell in December 1998 for a fee of £150,000. Tony is pictured above during the 0-0 draw against Bolton Wanderers on 1/9/1997.
He played 16 League games for Motherwell.
He retired from professional football due to injury in 2001.
