Bruno moved to Elland Road in the summer of 1997 from Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal,
Leeds paying £500, 000 for the services of the talented midfielder. He played 42 league games
for United, scoring 4 goals, before moving on to Sheffield United in October 1998 for the
same fee that Leeds had paid for the player.
