Theo Zagorakis arrived at Leicester City towards the end of the 1997-98 season, for a fee of £750,000
and featured in the last fourteen games of the campaign. Thereafter he struggled to command a regular
place in a City midfield that could boast the likes of Neil Lennon and Muzzy Izzet. He returned to his native
Greece with a free transfer to AEK Athens at the end of the 1999-2000 season.
