Brian Hall joined Liverpool while studying mathematics at Liverpool University
and turned professional following his graduation. After retiting from footbal he
took on teaching and was a schoolmaster for a while but Hall returned to Anfield
in 1991 to take on the role of the Reds head PR officer. post he was in until he had to retire
in 2011 due to health reasons. A special presentation was made to Hall before Liverpool's Premier
League match against Fulham at Anfield on 1 May 2012 to officially mark his retirement.
He died on July 16th 2015 aged 68 after a battle with leukaemia.
