Craig Bellamy was to return to Wembley Stadium for a third time in 2012 - as an Olympic competitor.

As the Host Nation Great Britain was entitled to enter a team into the Football Tournament Finals.

The team was made up of (as required) under 23 aged players but with three over age players and along

with Ryan Giggs, Craig was selected by manager Stuart Pearce.

They progressed to the knock out stage but there were beaten on penalties by South Korea.

Craig is pictured above in his Great Britain kit playing against the United Arab Emirates at Wembley

on 29th July 2012. - GB they won 3-1.
