Local lad David Thompson was a product of the Liverpool youth system that has produced
so many great players over the years. Despite enjoying his most fruitful season during the
1999-2000 campaign he was allowed to move on to Coventry City in August 2000.
David is pictured above during the 3-2 win against Spurs on 1/5/1999.
He was nicknamed is Little Davy Thommo.
