(The pictures above show Peter during the match against Besiktas in the Champions League on 06.11.07. Liverpool turned in a terrific performance that night to crush the Turks 8:0, in the process setting a new record for the biggest victory in Champions League history. Crouch started and finished the scoring for the Reds that night, scoring the first goal in the 19th minute and the last in the 89th. The scoreline eclipsed the previous mark of 7:0 held jointly by Juventus (against Olympiakos in 2003) and Arsenal, who had beaten Slavia Prague 7:0 just a few weeks earlier.)
