Steven GERRARD - Liverpool FC - UEFA Champions League Final 2005

The bottom left photo above shows just what the moment means to local boy

Steven Gerrard as he fulfils a boyhood dream and holds aloft the Champions

League trophy. It was Gerrard who had dragged Liverpool back into the game

with a fine header in the 54th minute and he can be seen above in the top row

pictures celebrating the moment and urging the Liverpool fans to 'raise the roof'.

Five minutes later those fans (estimated at a remarkable 40,000) were in

wonderland after Liverpool had drawn level at 3-3. The other pictures show

Steve at various stages of the match.
