Xabi ALONSO - Liverpool FC - UEFA Champions League Final 2005

The main photo above shows Xabi firing home the rebound after Milan keeper Dida had saved his penalty kick. It completed an incredible five minute spell which saw Liverpool come from 3-0 down to make the score 3-3. The other pictures are at various stages during the game including, bottom right, the Liverpool team looking on as Jerzy Dudek faces the all important penalty from Andrei Shevchenko. Dudek, of course, saved his kick sparking wild celebrations from the men in red. Xabi is no. 14, nearest the camera.
